Surrounded by Story Land, ski resorts, and picturesque hiking trails, this is the perfect getaway in which to relax while enjoying the White Mountains. ABOUT THE NATURE HAUS
The Nature Haus was originally built in 1985. When we bought it in the fall of 2022, we fell in love with the ample light that comes in through the large doors and windows on the main floor. The high ceilings, open concept, and updated kitchen were additional features to which we were drawn.
Despite the pinkish/beige carpeting, yellow walls, and dark trim on the lower floor, we saw the potential for making this place really feel like home. New flooring and lighter paint made a world of difference and we are so happy with how cozy the lower floor feels now. We hope you feel the same!
With each trip to the house during the renovations, Nate would tell our 4 year old that he was going to "the New Hampshire house." We soon learned that our son thought he was saying "the nature house." This name seemed fitting because of the location in the White Mountains, so we adapted it to reflect the European influence in the neighborhood.
